Richard Mille introduces the RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, a timepiece inspired by golf, designed in collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson. The distinctive pink color is drawn from Watson’s beloved PING G2i Anser putter, giving the watch a vibrant and cheerful style.

The bezel and caseback of the new watch are crafted from pink and white quartz TPT composite material, while the middle case is made from carbon TPT and pink quartz TPT, each showcasing a unique pattern of intersecting fibers. The tonneau-shaped case ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist, with the crown subtly mimicking the dimpled pattern of a golf ball, adding an element of fun.

The fully openworked dial allows the wearer to admire the intricate workings of the movement, with the skeletonized bridges forming a horizontal “V” shape on the dial. Pink hand-painted details on the bridges are inspired by Watson’s putter head. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock is designed to withstand accelerations of up to 10,000 g, ensuring stable operation even during high-speed swings by professional golfers.

Powering the watch is the RM 38-02 manual winding movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing a power reserve of 52 hours. The movement features a skeletonized baseplate made of carbon fiber for excellent shock resistance. The bridges are constructed from sturdy grade 5 titanium, with pink elements decorating the back through small apertures.
