Chopard Alpine Eagle Collection: A Tribute to the Alps and the Bald Eagle
Chopard’s Alpine Eagle series, designed by the brand’s joint CEO Karl-Friedrich Scheufele himself, carries its name ‘Alpine Eagle,’ reflecting his passion for the Alps and his homage to the bald eagle. The collection features a 41mm automatic mechanical watch with a sunray patterned dial inspired by the iris of an eagle’s eye. The hour and minute hands are engineered in a bar design, while the gold-skeletonized arrow-tipped second hand is adorned with an eagle feather-shaped counterweight. The watch showcases a sleek circular case design, with the surface treated to a polished finish. The bezel is adorned with 8 screws distributed at the four cardinal points, while the case sides are contoured to provide protection for the crown. A compass rose is engraved on the crown, symbolizing the ‘eagle’s’ choice of the correct direction. Available in a variety of materials, including Stainless Steel, Gold, two-tone, and Diamond-set, the new watch offers 10 different versions, with the most notable being Chopard’s exclusive Lucent Steel A223, which boasts excellent hypoallergenic, wear-resistant, and reflective properties.
