Richard Mille RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon Extraordinary Hollow Streamlined Wristwatch
Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 movement, integrating material innovation with horological architecture. The RM12-01 Tourbillon watch features prominently and is exclusively offered in various limited editions at boutiques across the Americas. The new RM12-01 Tourbillon’s case structure follows the principle of tripartite construction, uniting all case components together. The design of the movement draws inspiration from structural forms in architectural design, with tubular inclined structures providing optimal rigidity, torsional stiffness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. The functionality of the baseplate uniquely integrates with the movement and bridges, forming a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is impeccably finished with polishing, satin-finishing, circular-graining, and high-polish techniques, proudly displayed. Its monobloc baseplate, inspired by racing car chassis, enhances rigidity and shock resistance. Particularly distinctive are the sharp streamlined curves of the openworked bridges surrounding the barrel, mainspring, and tourbillon, extending to the end of the manually wound movement. The RM12-01 limited edition case measures approximately 51x42x15mm and is offered in Black Carbon TPT, Red Quartz TPT, and White Quartz TPT.
