The latest masterpiece from FM Factory, the Frank Muller-FM Vanguard Yachting watch series features a 44mm x 54mm case meticulously crafted with 100% original molds. Of special note is the sandwich-structured case, with blue side grooves and protruding blue ears on the inner sides, making the manufacturing process exceptionally challenging. After more than 10 months of development and numerous revisions, the watch is now successfully produced using 316L stainless steel, eschewing cheaper plastic molds prevalent in the market. The yacht blue dial features numerals with 1:1 high-definition embossed edges filled with oil, ensuring high production costs, complexity, and low defect rates. Beneath the dial, there is a magnifying lens layer and a calendar window with a sapphire magnifier, meeting original specifications for universal compatibility. The watch boasts a large curvature and highly transparent sapphire crystal glass, meticulously ground from a single piece of sapphire material measuring over 40mm x 50mm and exceeding 15mm in thickness to match the case’s curvature, resulting in high scrap rates and extremely low production yields. The diamond-set folding clasp uses original molds and matches the original starry sky buckle for ease of wearing, maximizing fidelity to the original design. The light-shell version features a folding clasp consistent with the original. The curved case design snugly fits the wrist, complemented by an upgraded rubber strap for enhanced softness and comfort, suitable for original watch bands.
